AI Engineer (Browser Automation)

The role

Hiring Firm, a tech Social Enterprise transforming e-commerce into a force for good, is seeking an AI-focused Engineer.

• This role involves designing and engineering intelligent browser automation systems powered by LLMs and embeddings.
• The successful candidate will take end-to-end ownership of automation systems, building AI-powered solutions to generate and optimize coupon testing templates, validate promo codes at scale, and integrate OpenAI APIs into backend services.

Requirements

• Strong technical background with experience designing scalable systems and a passion for AI-driven automation.
• Ability to take ownership and deliver production-quality code, comfortable working in experimental, fast-iteration environments, and strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Required commercial experience includes 3+ years in production NodeJS, strong experience with Puppeteer (or similar browser automation tools), hands-on experience with OpenAI APIs (LLMs and embeddings), experience building scalable backend services, solid experience with MongoDB, and Git source control.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
